Taylor Woodrow International renews partnership with WJ Towell, the oldest and one of the largest conglomerates in the Sultanate of Oman and the Gulf region

Taylor Woodrow International and WJ Towell & Co (LLC) have signed an agreement to renew a partnership which first began in 1969 and resulted in a number of major building and civil engineering projects in the Sultanate of Oman.

The W.J. Towell Group is the oldest and one of the largest conglomerates in the Sultanate of Oman and the Gulf region. Formed in 1866, 50 companies now form part of the Group with interests ranging from real estate and construction to shipping, car manufacture, oil field exploration and engineering.

Taylor Woodrow International has a long and successful history in the Gulf States dating back to the 1960s when the company built some of the first modern infrastructure projects including hospitals, television studios and townships. The Company has been re-establishing itself in the region since the end of 2009.

The recent agreement was signed by Mr Hussain Jawad, Chairman of WJ Towell & Co (LLC) and Garry Crabtree, Managing Director of Taylor Woodrow International.
