VINCI Construction UK to build new £11m facility at Bristol’s Chesterfield Hospital

VINCI Construction UK has been awarded an £11m contract by Nuffield Health for the design and construction of a new state of the art facility at The Chesterfield Hospital in Bristol.

The new building will feature a basement level as well as three upper floors. It will involve the construction of specialist imaging facilities, three operating theatres, patient accommodation and outpatient services.

The project also includes the refurbishment of an existing Grade II listed Georgian villa to provide admin and conference facilities. External hard and soft landscaping is also part of the contract works.

Chris Pape, Managing Director Building Division - Midlands, South West, Wales and Retail of VINCI Construction UK commented:

“This is an exciting project drawing on a range of our skills and capabilities, both in conservation and new build, in the healthcare sector and we look forward to providing a fantastic new facility that will help improve patient care at Chesterfield Hospital.”

VINCI Construction UK will be working in close partnership with Nuffield health to ensure that all works are completed to the highest standards while causing minimal disruption to the day to day running of the hospital.
