VINCI Construction UK Wins Nottingham Trent Student Accomodation Centre

VINCI Construction UK has been awarded a contract by UPP to design and construct 727 new student residences for Nottingham Trent University. This follows the successful delivery of two phases of student accommodation at Lancaster and one at Nottingham, both for UPP.

VINCI Construction UK has been working with the architect, Church Lukas, from the outset to ensure the accommodation includes sustainable features that reduce heat loss and energy consumption.

Chris Hamer, VINCI Construction UK’s Managing Director for the Building division - North said: “Following on from our last award-winning project for UPP, the Eco Residences at Lancaster University, we look forward to working in partnership with the team to deliver another outstanding student accommodation project.”

Sean O’Shea, UPP Chief Executive said: “As the leading provider of student accommodation, campus infrastructure and asset management services, UPP are pleased to be delivering this new sustainable development at Nottingham Trent University, in partnership with VINCI Construction UK. This project is a great example of how UPP’s bespoke partnership approach helps universities to achieve their strategic objectives. We are delighted to be bringing this project forward to further enhance the student experience.”
