VINCI Construction UK Awarded Heathrow Refurbishment Contract

VINCI Construction UK has been awarded a contract to refurbish Heathrow’s Terminal 3 baggage and immigration hall.

The complex £8.3 million project, which will be phased over several months and involve extensive passenger and third party interfaces, follows on from VINCI Construction UK’s recent successful delivery of the £100M refurbishment of Terminal 4.

Andrew Ridley-Barker, VINCI Construction UK’s Air division Managing Director commented: “We are looking forward to building on our relationship with BAA and providing world-class facilities with the minimum of disruption, enabling passengers to enjoy their journeys.”

VINCI Construction UK has worked successfully at Heathrow for many years, delivering key projects such as the construction of Terminal 4, the Piccadilly Underground Station and the Heathrow Express Rail Link.
