Norwest Holst Underway with £23 Million Contract for Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

The Building division of VINCI Construction UK Limited is underway with a £23 million contract for Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The contract involves the design and construction of a new four-storey building to provide an elective care centre, along with the associated external works and landscaping.

A steel walkway linking the existing hospital theatre with the new elective care centre was recently lifted into position in two halves, each weighing 60 tonnes and measuring 70 metres long.

Upon completion, the main accommodation will include four operating theatres, a breast clinic, audiology, ophthalmology, a number of general clinics, a radiology unit and a reception area with a feature staircase.
