Fatboys Cancer Charity

VINCI Facilities provides hard and soft FM and Lifecycle services as part of the Swindon Police PFI. The division recently donated £250 in support of the Fatboys Cancer Charity which was set up 10 years ago in memory of a 30 year old police officer in Swindon who died of cancer. Over those ten years, the charity has raised in excess of £10,000. The event, supported by VINCI Facilities, involved four Police Officers from The Wiltshire Constabulary who canoed along the River Thames from Cricklade near Swindon to Teddington in West London. They covered the 135 mile distance in four and a half days, raising in excess of £2000. The £250 cheque was presented on behalf of VINCI Facilities by Facilities Assistant, Leanne Sear.
