Successful partnerships

Described as one of the UK’s largest PFI schemes of the last 10 years, the successful delivery of two hospitals for St Helens and Knowsley PFI Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is an outstanding example of what the public and private sectors can achieve by working together. In July 2010, the collaborative team approach was celebrated at the Trust’s Annual Staff Awards. This was the first time that the Trust had recognised a private sector partner at their internal awards evening.
